PB&J is a an independent dance company working collaborative with all studios
and independent professional ballroom dancers, as well as amatuer dancers.
Giving opportunity for both amateur and professional talented dancers to enjoy and enhance their performance skills.
All participating dancers will be featured on the new and upcoming web site exclusive to PB&J DANCE COMPANY

Advanced dancers only by audition
Please note that all dancers must have a partner. This is not a teaching class but an advanced level performance dance company,
where ballroom dancers can train to be top performers!

Audition Requirements

• PB&J IS LOOKING ONLY FOR WELL TRAINED BALLROOM DANCERS AND MUST BE IN GOOD PHYSICAL SHAPE. (NO BEGINNERS)
• All dancers must register for the audition
• All dancers must present both a smooth and rhythm dance of at least 12 counts of 8 but not to exceed 16 counts of 8. Dancers may bring their own music (Digital only: IPod, Laptop, Tablets) or music can be provided.
• All dancers will be presented with a short choreographed routine given by Choreographer Nelia Lawton to be danced back for observation….which will also include a touch of tap rhythms and jazz.
• Professionals dancing pro am may audition with more than one student, however only one student will be chosen to dance as a pro/am couple.
• Dancers are responsible for the cost of costumes and dance wear. Information will be provided at auditions.  Costumes will not be overly costly.

CLASS/ REHEARSAL SCHEDULE FOR 1ST DEBUT PERFORMANCE ON MARCH 7, 2014
AT DANCENELIA'S FIRST SUPPER CLUB NIGHT FOLLOWED BY A TOUR TO OTHER PRE-SELECTED VENUES

• All Rehearsals/Classes for PB&J's debut performance will be held twice a week : January 27-March 5, 2014, Monday Nights 7-8pm and on Wednesday Nights 7-8:pm at the Democratic Club Dance Hall …
• Cost: (12 hours) $300.00 per dancer and may be paid in 2 installments | $150.00 due on audition date if selected | $150 due Wednesday February 12, 2014
  NOTE: All pro am couples…amateurs are responsible for any cost or compensation due to their professional partner/teacher

Performances
PB&J will perform at each of DanceNelia’s Supper Club Nights at the Democratic Club Dance Hall.
Each new performance will also be scheduled to tour at pre selected venues.

With each new upcoming performance,will also include future auditions dates to help our production company grow
